As you already now, I like Salesforce. Lately, I have also started falling in love with web development, especially react. So I thought, why not combining these two and working on something that not only sharpens my skills in both technologies but may also be useful to Salesforce admins in the future.

This is a quick teaser of a React based App that I have built. Today, you can’t clone an existing path for a new record type.

For example, if your Opportunity has a “standard sales” record type, with a great path that you would like to repurpose for your new record type, “special sales”, you will have to build that path from scratch.

In the future, I am planning to continue building this App which will simplify this process and allow you to edit and create paths simply.

I was planning to post something about my app, after I am complete. However, I am planning to make a series out of this, so you can join me during my learning phase.

Sharing success only is boring, so I thought posting about the progress regularly makes more sense, so you can also learn from my mistakes. Stay tuned for more and let me know if you think that’s useful.

Shout out to Philippe Ozil and his Git Repo, which I have used as a starting point. Thanks, Philippe.
